Admission: Statesville Haunted Prison & City of the Dead $30.00. Group Tickets are $25.00. VIP ticket for $10.00 extra to avoid the line. Also: NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 10 WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY AND PERSONS 15 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PAID ADULT.

My FAVORITE of all the Chicagoland Haunted Houses! Statesville is located in Crest Hill, IL. It is open weekends starting October 4th-31st from 7pm.-10pm, Friday-Saturday 7pm.-11pm. Getting there late also means a very long wait. It is best to get there as early as possible to “try” to avoid the lines. The also have a VIP ticket for $10.00 more that will take you right in and avoid the line.

Stateville Haunted Prison Features:

2 Haunted Houses! The first is Statesville Haunted Prison… incredibly well done. Plenty of line entertainment while waiting to get in. The 200 or more actors are all top quality, and great at what they do. There are 30 different rooms all featuring different scenes, sounds, and smells. All incredibly well put together!

The second Haunted House is The City of the Dead! Shorter… but just as good as the first. Incredibly well put together!

The length of Statesville Haunted Prison and city of the dead varies from 30 to 45 minutes.  Statesville Haunted Prison has a very high scare factor. The City of the Dead has a high scare factor.

My FAVORITE of all the Chicagoland Pumpkin Patches! I have gone to Bengston’s pumpkin patch every year for the last 14 years. Bengston’s is located in Homer Glen, IL. It is open everyday 10am - 8pm, September 27th thru October 30th.

Bengston’s has plenty of free parking. The also offer wheel barrels to help you get the pumpkins out to your car. Bengston’s creates a great atmosphere and never leaves you with nothing to look at, or do. You really can’t go wrong with a trip to Bengston’s.
